A Medical Biller prepares and submits a patient
bill to insurance companies for payment thereof. He or she can work for
doctors, dentists, surgeons, or others in the medical field. A Medical Coder analyzes medical records and assigns codes in order to categorize diagnoses and procedures in support of the insurance reimbursement system. A Medical Reimbursement Specialist is adept in both of these functions. |
