The nursing assistant certified is also called CNA (certified nursing assistant). NACs are sometimes called Nurses Aide or Hospital Assistant. They work under the supervision of a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, or physician, and assist in the basic care of hospital, clinic, or nursing home patients.
