The Medical Dosimetrist works with radiation
oncologists. A dosimetrist is trained to measure and produce radiation
doses. Dosimetrists are supervised by radiation physicists and radiation
oncologists. Dosimetrists calculate doses and then prepare treatment with beam modifying devices and other aids as necessary. |
